Engineering Aide

As an Engineering Aide, you will act as an integral member of the engineering team to create and develop innovative technologies and leverage their application into new products and product lines that support the needs of Kennon’s customers. The Engineering Aide at Kennon Products is expected to demonstrate and leverage a diverse range of skills in order to support the full range of development activities. These include working with a team of engineers and technicians to build tooling and prototypes utilizing both traditional and state of the art technologies (i.e. 3D print, CNC, etc.), performing a diverse range of test and evaluation protocols, testing and evaluation of materials and product, and reporting results to the larger team. Communication and collaboration skills will be extremely important as you shepherd innovations through the development cycle. As developments mature, you will support the establishment of needed production documentation (BOM, standard work, inspection criteria, etc.) in collaboration with colleagues from the Production Team to seamlessly transition products into series production.
